LibreChat - Start Here
URI ITS is currently running a pilot program to allow selected participants to use LibreChat.
- LibreChat is a frontend which allows people to select and use a number of LLMs (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Participants are generally free to use this for any purpose.
- No data is used for training, etc. Like a URI email account, ITS staff are prohibited from accessing the contents of anyone's messages, except in case of an extreme emergency, possible serious crime, or legal requirement.
- Do not put any sensitive information into LibreChat, such as usernames, passwords, social security numbers, etc. Data which would be classified as PHI / HIPAA / CUI / FERPA absolutely cannot be entered.
